For our Founder, Dale Schober, adventure has never been just about reaching a destination—it’s about the thrill of discovery, the people you meet along the way, and the moments that can’t be planned.
That mindset has taken him to 70+ countries so far, with a goal of visiting every country in the world. But it was on his first visit to Banff, Canada in 2009 that his path changed forever.
“I didn’t just choose Banff—it chose me. The towering peaks, the neon-blue lakes, the way the wilderness pulls you in—it was impossible to ignore. I created Radventures selfishly, as a way to see the places that made me fall in love with Canada over and over again—through the eyes of others. There’s something special about watching someone take in a view that stops them in their tracks, or experience an encounter with wildlife that makes them speechless. I live vicariously through those moments, and that’s what keeps me exploring.”
Dale’s own adventures didn’t stop when Radventures was born. He’s still exploring, both alongside Radventures guests and on his own—sometimes for the sheer love of travel, sometimes scouting new, epic experiences to bring to future Radventures itineraries.
